The fairways on both the 15th and 16th holes are crossed by a raised walkway which in the past was used by local industries to transport coal and labour to and from the railway. Nowadays this serves as a natural hazard around the length of a well hit drive. This is possibly the easiest of the Par 5's and a good birdie chance as it can be reached in two. Around the green are a number of grass bunkers which often prevent a straightforward chip on to the putting surface.

Slight dog leg right. A positive tee shot is required, but watch out for the hump crossing the fairway try and play short of this to make this a 3 shotter or the longer hitters my feel brave and try and carry the hump to have any chance of reaching in 2.
